Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy (SCIA), a member of Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) Group, brings the rigour and high quality of Singapore education to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. SCIA is fully owned by SIM which has a history of more than fifty years in providing private education and lifelong learning.

SCIA takes pride to be a unique school in Phnom Penh with a strong and big team of committed school leaders, assisted by competent educators from Singapore; ensuring the authenticity of an integrated Singapore and international education. In addition, our academic or instructional leadership and teaching faculty are talent-scouted from all over the world (America, Europe, Oceania and Asia). SCIA further invests in continuing professional development for our educators with our in-house Educator Development Centre (EDC).

Our students will graduate with Cambridge-endorsed qualifications, ready to take on the world. The holistic curriculum encompassing cognitive, aesthetics, moral, physical and social domains will place SCIA graduates in good standing.

SCIA will uphold SIM’s belief in “Doing Well” in all its ventures, and simultaneously “Doing Good” to the community it serves. “Doing Good” means giving back to the community. SCIA, through our EDC, will seek ways to contribute in elevating the quality of teaching fraternity through its capacity building initiatives, professional development and sharing of best practices. We will engage and consult with the government and stakeholders to see how we can play a constructive role in the education arena in Cambodia. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts include providing scholarships, study awards and support for worthy causes or community initiatives for education, youths and children.

SCIA’s unique international curriculum goes beyond classrooms and grades. Our Signature Education Programmes: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Talent Development programmes are specially designed to empower our students to be highly future-ready.

As the saying goes: “It takes a village to raise a child”, SCIA is a learning community, and parents are crucial partners in the developmental journey of the child. Come join our learning village, be a partner in educating the next generation and prepare our children to be future-ready: the BRIGHTEST LEADERS that they can be.

The best present parents can give to their children is the gift of education. Finding a school that matches the expectations requires an investment in time to understand the school better.

At the High School level, students at SCIA will be taught the Cambridge curriculum with a tinge of Singaporean flavour, helmed by educators who have taught in Singapore. To give SCIA the international flavour, we employ various teachers of various nationalities with high qualifications in their areas of expertise. We ensure the students get a taste of “globalisation” in the school.

Singapore’s education top standing in the world has been documented by various independent studies which include TIMSS, PIRLS and PISA. In 2017, Singapore also topped in Problem-Solving ranking, a testimony that the Singapore education system develops the students beyond the academics. Indeed, a Singapore education opens opportunities to the world.

At SCIA, we provide avenues for students to enjoy the authentic learning process with a strong grounding in values. My teachers and I will ensure students experience a holistic education covering cognitive, aesthetics, moral, physical and social. To ensure our students remain relevant in the future, we equip them with 21st Century skills comprising Higher Order Thinking Skills, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration.

Just like a building which needs a good foundation to stand the test of time, SCIA (High School) promises to provide the students with the strong foundation necessary for studies beyond the current level.

In partnership with parents, my staff and I will make the students’ dreams become reality and see them grow from strength to strength.

Each child comes to us like a piece of white paper, tabula rasa, a blank slate. It is the responsibility of the adult caregivers to provide the child the tools to add colours to their lives.

At SCIA Pre-School, we encourage our children to explore the environment via experiential learning, through play and a blend of best teaching practices. Our teachers guide the students through a unique, integrated curriculum model that is a balance of good Singapore and British approaches. At SCIA, our children learn to play, and play to learn.

It is particularly important to lay sound and strong foundations in the early years of growth. Children have a natural curiosity to explore and learn, and we pride ourselves on providing them the opportunities to enhance that intrinsic motivation as they develop into well-adjusted, caring, responsible young children who look forward to coming to school every day.

It is always an immense joy watching the little faces light up with smiles as they greet their teachers and friends every morning. It is a greater joy to see them paint their lives with beautiful memories on the journey with us.

At SCIA Pre-School, we add colours to your child’s memories.
