Job Description

To work with the School Leaders and Department Head (Science), Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. (SCIA), a Cambodia registered subsidiary of SIM International Pte. Ltd., the Science Lab Technician (Primary), is responsible for the following areas:

Job purpose

  • Setting up of the school science laboratories
  • Proposing science-related purchases to Department Head (Science)
  • Preparing materials and equipment for science lessons acting on teachers’ instructions
  • Maintaining science laboratories and preparation rooms and their equipment, and services in good order
  • Stock-taking the equipment and materials regularly
  • Supporting the teachers in the Science Department in conducting practical lessons
  • Assisting ICT Teaching & Learning
  • Assisting the Exam Committee in setting up Exam Rooms
  • Performing exam admin duties which include, but not limited to, photocopy exam papers, handling confidential exam materials and ensuring proper storage.
  • Assisting in the overall conduct of the exams.
  • Performing other functions or tasks as necessary or assigned by School Leaders and Department Head (Science)

job requirement

Academic Education / Training / Experience

  • Applicants should have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Diploma in a Science Discipline with 2 to 3 years laboratory experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in managing school laboratory is an advantage.
